The community games U12 Team, served up a superb football game to win the county final on tuesday last. It was a great overall team display from Courtney Kelly who manned the full back line to the hardworking Louise Kerley in midfield, while up front the sharpshooting of Sarah Slevin was a delight, and a never say die attitude from the players.  They now go forward to represent the parish and county in Letterkenny for the Ulster quarter-finals.

Our hopes to represent monaghan in feile for 2012 we dashed on monday evening when we came out on the wrong side of the contest, we played with vigour and determination in the first half and were only trailing by two points at the break, but alas when we lost the services of Eimear Finnegan(who played a major role) through injury and then shortly after Aideen Murray (also through injury) we were considerably weakened and found it difficult to maintain the strength needed to overcome this strong Emyvale side.

News:21/04/2012
The U14's recorded a victory to reach another feile co final - well done to all concerned - the final once again is against Emyvale and this takes place in Clontibret on Monday night coming the 23rd April at 7pm - we hope to see a large crowd there to cheer on the team in their quest to travel to Laois for feile in June
